We're excited to announce we will be celebrating our 5th annual International Weekend on Saturday, March 20, 2021. The event, which will be held at 125 N. Watterson Trail, Louisville, Kentucky, will celebrate the cultural diversity of the congregation and the local community through international music, worship, and fellowship!
In years past, this has been a major gathering four our church and community, with hundreds in attendance. And while we would love to be able to do that, current COVID concerns have required us to change things this year. However, we are pleased to be able to have a few of the events and things that make the weekend so special.
During the event, attendees will enjoy an International Concert featuring music sung in multiple languages including Portuguese, Twi, Romanian, and Kpelle. A special highlight of the International Worship will be the Virtual Parade of Nations featuring flags from more than 25 native countries of Middletown’s members, as well as music from around the world. Guests are encouraged to wear international clothing to the service!
International Weekend is an awesome opportunity for the local community to participate in an international worship experience amongst a friendly congregation where Jesus is exalted. All events are absolutely FREE and open to the public!
