Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church will host its second annual International Weekend on Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3, 2018 for its congregation, family, friends, and community guests. The event, which will be at the church at 125 N. Watterson Trail, Louisville, Kentucky, will celebrate the cultural diversity of Middletown’s congregation and the local community through international food, music, worship, and fellowship.
During the event, attendees will enjoy an International Concert featuring music sung in multiple languages including Portuguese, Twi, Romanian, Mizo, and Malayalam. A special highlight of the International Worship will be the Parade of Nations featuring flags from more than 20 native countries of Middletown’s members, as well as music from around the world. Everyone is also welcome to enjoy the International Vegetarian Potluck featuring delicious cuisine from various nations such as India, Ghana, Philippines, Brazil, Tanzania, and Venezuela. Guests are encouraged to wear international clothing to all events.
International Weekend is an awesome opportunity for the local community to participate in an international worship experience amongst a friendly congregation where Jesus is exalted. All events are absolutely free and open to the public.
