Since summer of 2012, Middletown SDA Church has partnered with Eastern Area Community Ministries (EACM). They are a non-profit social service agency founded by local churches to meet specific needs in our community.

"The mission of Eastern Area Community Ministries is to provide support services to people in need by building cooperative relationships between communities of faith, organizations and businesses."

EACM was founded in 1990 to address the human needs of those living in eastern Jefferson County east of the Watterson Expressway, and north of Interstate 64. EACM is one of 15 ministries in the Association of Community Ministries (ACM), which serves all of Jefferson County. EACM orchestrates the efforts of many individuals, congregations, service organizations, businesses and local governments as together we strive to effectively respond to the needs of our community. EACM is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization

EACM is a faith-based, grass roots organization that works to orchestrate the efforts of many individuals, congregations, organizations, businesses and local governments striving to effectively respond to the needs of our neighbors.

EACM has 38 member churches who support the work of this organization. EACM is also supported by grants and individual donations.
