“Women reaching women with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ”
"Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God." I John 4:7
The Middletown Seventh Day Adventist Women’s Ministries group serves as a catalyst for our church and its outreach ministries. The group members serve multiple roles… Worship Team Leaders, Elders, Sabbath School teachers, greeters, mothers, and grandmothers to name a few. Although we spend a huge portion of time sharing love, smiles and hugs, our primary role is to recruit souls and provide a refuge for anyone seeking prayer and a personal walk with God. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding; In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5–6 NKJV
Our meetings are open to ALL women, members or non-members, young or seasoned, with a desire to engage in the empowerment of spiritual fellowship. Our meetings revolve around open discussions related to issues impacting our daily lives with the aid of current devotionals and workbooks that develop and strengthen our relationship with Christ.
Women are primarily caregivers and often fail to ask for care. Many of us do not know who or how to ask for nurturing because of our self sufficiency (“Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.” II Corinthians 3:5). These meetings provide an environment of sharing and an opportunity for women to develop trusting relationships that can last a lifetime because of their spiritual basis and nature. We are not here to judge or be judged, we are here to listen, love and encourage.
This circle of women provides a safe and confidential environment for sisters to share the essence of their joys or sorrows. Please feel free to join us at our next meeting, the first Monday of each month at Middletown Seventh Day Adventist Church, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
