 Pat Rosenthal has been the secretary for the Middletown Seventh-day Adventist Church since 1999. Before serving the church as secretary, Pat worked for the American Red Cross and is a registered nurse, licensed in four states.
Born in Austin, Minnesota in 19-- (wouldn’t you like to know!), Pat has also lived in such places as Florida and Tennessee. In the end, however, Pat considers herself a true Minnesotan. Perhaps it was the happy childhood memories of snow, lots of snow, that explains her desktop paperweight inscribed with the words: “Think Snow.”
When not making phone calls for Pastor Jan and reconciling bank statements for church treasurer, Scott Muhlenbeck, Pat dreams of better days on a cruise line of her choice to the Caribbean (particularly St. John, USVI) or Alaska. Pat enjoys a whole host of other things as well, such as knitting, stamping, listening to Southern Gospel music, and watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition with her sister, Nancy.
Many people know that Pat is one of the most positive people you’ll ever meet. She’s also one of the best people to talk to for just about anything. However, few people know that she’s been parasailing twice and used to ride a motorcycle. She started out with a Kawasaki 100 and then moved on to a Honda 175. She has a passion for women’s ministry, loves people and life in general. But what really bugs her is when people borrow stuff and don’t return it. So if Pat’s loaned you anything over the years, make sure you return it ASAP!
