Middletown is part of a worldwide network of churches within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. There are approximately 60,000 churches and over 14 million members in over 200 countries.
More specifically, however, we have a closer connection with two sister churches. The first is the Lawrenceburg Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, approximately one hour to the east of us. Pastor Jan’s responsibilities are shared between Middletown and Lawrenceburg.
Our second sister church is located in a rural village in Ghana, West Africa. Over the years we’ve assisted them with various projects from building a new church to providing clothing and other basic needs. In February of 2006 a team of 7 members from Middletown visited our sister church in Ghana as well as participated in one of the largest satellite evangelistic events in the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
